About Me

Hello! myself Dhaval Tharkar, I'm a Post Graduate Student from B. K. Birla College in Kalyan City of Maharashtra
in the Year 2022 in the domain of Data Science and Big Data Analytics. I also completed my Bachelor's Degree
in Computer Science in 2020 from Model College of Science and Commerce.

During my undergraduate years, I was introduced to Data Science, as well as programming languages such as
C++, C#, and Python.
Among these, Python became my base language due to its ease of use and versatility.

In my Master's, I gained exposure to software tools like Tableau, Power BI, and SPSS, as well as Machine Learning
and Deep Learning concepts. I worked on building dashboards with Tableau Public and developing ML models
using CSV datasets. My workflow included loading and cleaning datasets, analyzing data using libraries such as pandas,
numpy, matplotlib, seaborn, sklearn, klib, and plotly.

In early 2024, I encountered an unexpected health issue related to my eyesight, which required medical attention
and ultimately led to eye surgery on April 8, 2024. Based on medical advice, I have been on a recovery break for
approximately one year, during which I was unable to work.

Now that I am recovering well and medically cleared to resume my career, I am motivated to make a fresh start
and pursue opportunities as a Data Analyst. With renewed determination, upgraded skills, and a strong desire to
grow in the data science domain, I am eager to contribute as a capable and enthusiastic fresher.

Developed a Python script using Jupyter Notebook and Python (IDLE) to engineer a machine learning model.
Innovated interactive Dashboards in Tableau Public for various csv files. Deployed a machine learning model

  • From May 2022 to December 2022, I dedicated time to enhancing my skills in the field of data science by learning
    machine learning concepts and applying to various companies in an effort to start my career. However, I realized
    that my resume lacked the impact needed to secure interviews, which limited my opportunities during that time.
  • In 2023, I focused on strengthening my resume and continued developing my technical skills. I explored
    computer vision and completed a project using YOLOv5 for object detection, further expanding my knowledge and
    hands-on experience in the field. Despite these efforts, I was still unable to secure a suitable opportunity.
